With the completion of the Ashram, Chinmaya Mission, Amritsar plans to realize its long cherished vision which is possible only with a permanent centre of its own We plan to:
- Hold regular seminars and work shops for the teachers and students to promote value – based quality education in all the institutions of this area. This will help to promote the basic Indian values among the youth;
- Run regular Management classes for those who are managing various organizations. These classes will be conducted by the resident Acharya and other visiting swamis;
- Establish a counseling cell to guide and help the children, youth to learn how to lead a positive life and become useful citizens of the country. Senior Citizens will be helped to properly plan their post retirement life. This cell will also render necessary guidance to people suffering from tension and depression to enable them lead a normal fulfilling life.
With all these programmes we are making an humble effort to spread the message of Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda to as many people as possible . With the construction of an Ashram We shall get a nucleus centre to carry on our mission with greater vigour and in a much better organized manner.
