Programmes of Mission
CHYK aims to empower youth with vision, values and dynamism for success in all fields. The motto of CHYK is ‘Harnessing youth potential through dynamic spirituality’. This youth wing of Chinmaya Mission was established in 2000 to promote cultural and moral values among the youth. It was inaugurated by Swami Mitrananda, the national president of CHYK. Padamshri Shri Vijay Kumar Chopra the editor of Punjab Kesri was also present at the inaugural function. This wing conducts a study group for the young students and regularly arrange spiritual picnics to Sidhbari.They successfully participated in the three national Quiz Contests on “Art of Man making” in 2000, “Awakening Indians to India” in 2003 and Transforming Indians to Transform India in 2013-14. CHYK has also organized two workshops on Face Exam-Tension Free in Feb. 2005 and March 2007. Members of CHYK have voluntarily taken upon themselves to help in arranging various programs of the Mission
